The Glencorbet Horseshoe Loop forms a challenging route on the Northern Twelve Bens in County Galway. The terrain is mainly rocky ridgelines with low lying bog and heath. The walk covers Benbaun or White Hill at 725m the highest peak in County Galway, along with Benfree, Mucknaght and Benbrack. The views you will experience over Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and Lough along with the views to the south of the Southern Bens and the Maumturks to the East.
